These Terms govern your use of The GM at thegm.app. By using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use The GM.
The service
The GM is an AI assistant for small-business owners. It produces drafts, documents, analyses, web pages, and other work based on the information you provide. It is a tool to assist you — not a substitute for professional, legal, financial, or tax advice.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and using The GM for a business. Keep your sign-in email secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. You're responsible for the information you provide and for reviewing the GM's output before you rely on it or send it to anyone.
AI output
The GM's output is generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and approving anything before it is used, sent, or published — especially anything customer-facing or financial. Standing orders that send to customers require your approval unless you explicitly enable auto-send for that order.
Acceptable use
Don't use The GM to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam or deceptive messages, or generate harmful or abusive content. We may suspend accounts that do.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Manage Billing in your account; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Each plan includes a monthly usage allowance; if you reach it, your GM's autonomous work pauses until the next cycle or you move to a higher plan.
Your content
You own the business information and content you provide and the deliverables the GM creates for you. You grant us the limited license needed to process that content and operate the service (including sending it to our AI provider to generate output).
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The GM is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
